Biography:
Know Boundaries is an edgy, fresh take on a rock/hip-hop amalgamation. Unlike most genre fusing bands, KB is acceptable in both a hip hop or rock environment. Think a modern update of RATM. Less metal, more hip/hop and alternative influence. The band's rapper, Jermel D. Randolph, is a published poet, and highly regarded in the community as one of the most artistic and poetic rappers around. The band is tight, fresh, and modern sounding. Dancy, hooky, and aggressive.
Think Muse meet Jurassic Five. Mars Volta meets the Black Eyed Peas. Radiohead meets Outkast. Incubus meet the Roots. Method Man meets the Killers.
In three years, Know Boundaries has produced an impressive list of accomplishments:

-Garnered national label interest
-Sponsored nationally by Anheuiser Busch's True Music Live program. (Budweiser)
-Showcased at numerous industry conferences
-Opened for many national acts, most notably Sound Tribe Sector Nine, the Big Wu, the Gin Blossoms, Fastball, Something Corporate, 3 Days Grace, the Black Eyed Peas, Cypress Hill, Caroline Spine, and Buckcherry.
-Routinely sell out venues in Madison WI.

Biography
Band is formed January 1999 by Baye Osei. The band currently consists of 5 members.
Has been featured on Outkast's multi-platinum, grammy-award winning CD"Stankonia". E.X. have re-recorded the Public Enemy classic" Buckwylin'" w/ Chuck D and Professor Griff featured on the re-make. E.X. have performed with artists such as India.Aire, Stuck Mojo, El Pus,Crazy Anglos and Ill Break;. The band's 1st single, "POWER BOMB", became a favorite on local college, national and international radio stations(WRFG 89.3-Atlanta,WRFR 93.3 FM-Maine,104.5 FM-Australia). Influences range from Van Halen, Bad Brains, BodyCount to Ornette Coleman and Public Enemy. Our main goal: to create an original sound (Ghetto Metal), and to give the audience the best music and live stage show possible.
